Jellydog is suitable for babies 3 months and above, as younger infants may not yet have the self-awareness to fully engage with it. Jellydog is made of 100% food-grade silicone, produced in a medical-grade factory to global standards. It has been verified safe for babies and approved by mothers in 10 countries.

Jellydog can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 200°C (-40°F to 392°F), so it can be safely placed in the dishwasher, refrigerator, and sterilized with steam or boiling water. It can also be placed in a UV sterilizer, but for no more than 30 minutes.

The solid silicone design of Jellydog prevents "nipple confusion" that can occur with nipple-like teethers, where babies may start biting their mother's nipple. Solid teethers are recommended by parenting experts for safety concerns.
